Soul Cores & Runes

Add a socket to a piece of gear. Insert a rune or soul core. Get a guaranteed stat: no gambling.

  • Use Artificer's Orb for runes (any gear) or Arcanist's Etcher for soul cores (weapons and caster off-hands).
  • Permanent until extracted with an Orb of Extraction.
  • Each socket gives a different stat depending on the gear type: see “Effect by item type” on each card.
